1. What is the nature of the senior high school entrance examination in 2023?

In 2023, our province will continue to implement the "two-in-one" method of academic level examination and high school entrance examination. Examination results are not only the main basis for measuring students’ academic level and evaluating the quality of education and teaching in compulsory education, but also one of the important basis for selecting and recruiting new students in high school. That is, the senior high school entrance examination is both a "graduation examination" and a "entrance examination".

2. What are the subjects for the senior high school entrance examination in our province in 2023? How is the score set?

The examination subjects for the ninth grade students are: Chinese, mathematics, English (including listening), morality and rule of law, history, physics and chemistry, and the examination subjects for the eighth grade students are: biology and geography.

Chinese, mathematics, and English have a full score of 120, morality and rule of law, history, physics, chemistry, biology, and geography have a full score of 100, and sports and health subjects have a full score of 50. The original score of all examination subjects is 910, which is made up of the original scores of 8 examination subjects, including Chinese, Mathematics, English, Morality and Rule of Law, History, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Education and Health, and 50% of the original scores of 2 examination subjects, namely Biology and Geography. This year’s physical education and health subjects are included in the original score of the candidates’ senior high school entrance examination with full marks.

Fourth, what should I pay attention to before the exam?

(1) It is recommended that candidates avoid or reduce access to crowded public places before the exam. When it is really necessary to go to public places, they should pay attention to wearing masks scientifically.

(2) Candidates should do a good job in self-health monitoring. If you have symptoms such as fever and cough before the exam, you should go to the hospital in time.

(3) carefully check whether the admission ticket is ready before the exam. If it is lost, report it to the class teacher or the teacher leading the exam as soon as possible.

5. What should I pay attention to on the day of the exam?

(a) to plan the traffic route from the departure point to the test center in advance, taking into account the traffic congestion, admission security and other factors, reserve enough time to ensure that you arrive at the test center on time.

(2) During the examination, it is the high temperature and thunderstorm season in our province. Please pay attention to the weather forecast, prevent high temperature and lightning rain, and pay attention to traffic safety on the way to the examination. During the examination, the examination room may turn on the air conditioner or fan to cool down. It is recommended that candidates bring their own coats according to their actual situation.

(3) Candidates can look for the examination room as shown in the plan of the examination room after entering the examination center. 40 minutes before the Chinese exam (30 minutes before other subjects), candidates begin to enter the examination room.

6. What test equipment should candidates bring into the examination room?

When candidates enter the venue, except 2B pencils, black ink pens, rulers, compasses, triangles and erasers, other items should be placed in the "temporary place for non-examination items" outside the entrance of the examination room, and they are not allowed to carry them with them. It is forbidden to bring mobile phones and other wireless communication equipment, electronic storage equipment, watches, calculators, dictionaries, dictionaries, correction fluids, correction tapes and other non-examination articles into the examination room. No examination supplies are allowed to be delivered in the examination room.

7. What should I pay attention to during the examination?

(a) the examination time shall be subject to the examination signal issued by the examination center. Candidates can’t answer questions until the test start signal is issued. After 15 minutes of examination (according to the examination time of the first subject in the combined examination), late candidates are not allowed to enter the examination center. Late candidates are not allowed to enter the examination room after 5 minutes before the English listening test.

(2) Candidates must fill in or answer in the answer area corresponding to the answer sheet in strict accordance with the requirements of the test questions. During the examination, we should abide by the examination discipline, keep a calm mind, carefully examine the questions and answer the questions carefully. If you feel unwell during the exam, please raise your hand to the invigilator and follow the invigilator’s arrangement.

(3) Candidates must stop answering questions immediately after the signal of the end of the exam is issued, otherwise it will be dealt with in violation of regulations. Candidates put the answer sheets and test papers in order of page numbers and put them on the table. Candidates can withdraw from the examination room in turn after the invigilator receives the answer sheet and test paper and accepts them correctly. Candidates are not allowed to take away papers, answer sheets and draft papers, and are not allowed to stay in the examination room.

(4) All subjects can only be handed in after the examination, and it is not allowed to hand in papers in advance.

Eight, how to fill in and answer correctly on the answer sheet?

(1) All the senior high school entrance examinations in our province adopt online marking methods. Only test questions are printed on the examination papers of all subjects, and candidates’ answers are filled in and answered at the designated position on the answer sheet as required. Answering questions on the examination paper or draft paper is invalid.

(2) When answering questions, pay attention to the order of the questions. Answers written outside the wireframe of the answering area or not written in the answering area of the corresponding topic are invalid.

(3) When answering objective questions, candidates shall scribble the answer sheet with the specified 2B pencil, and shall not use a pen or ballpoint pen; The written answers to subjective questions can only be written in black ink, and pens of other colors and 2B pencils are not allowed. For drawing with 2B pencil, the underlined lines must be clear, so as not to affect the scanning effect.

(four) when the graffiti is incorrect and needs to be modified, an eraser can be used, and correction fluid and correction tape are prohibited.

(5) No marks irrelevant to the answers are allowed on the answer sheet. If you need to write the school name or name in the answer, you must not write the real school name or name, otherwise it will be punished as cheating.

(6) Do not fold or damage the answer sheet.

When will the results of the senior high school entrance examination be announced?

The results of the senior high school entrance examination will be announced around July 16th. At that time, the Provincial Examinations Bureau will issue the Announcement on the Release and Inquiry Guidelines of the Senior High School Entrance Examination Results through official website (http://ea.hainan.gov.cn) and Guanwei, and candidates will inquire about the results of the senior high school entrance examination according to the contents of the announcement.

10. What should I do if I have doubts about the results of the senior high school entrance examination?

Candidates who have doubts about their grades can apply for grade review within the specified time (subject to the announcement of the Provincial Examinations Bureau). The contents of the results review include the scanning of the answer sheet, the statistical synthesis of the small items and total scores of each subject, and the classification. Candidates themselves and their parents are not allowed to consult the test papers and answer sheets.

XI. How do candidates get guidance when filling in their volunteers?

Recently, the Provincial Examinations Bureau will issue the "Announcement on Candidates’ Voluntary Guidance" through official website to inform the majority of candidates and parents about the rules and precautions for volunteering.
