In terms of design, the front face of Xingyao 8 adopts the common closed shape of new energy vehicles, with a split group. The daytime running light above is designed as a boomerang, which looks sharp and aggressive. The front enclosure adopts a three-stage layout, the diversion grooves on both sides are embedded with chrome trim strips, and the trapezoidal air inlet at the bottom is filled with a straight waterfall or banner structure, which not only reduces the wind resistance, but also enhances the layering.

The side lines of Xingyao 8 car body are smooth, and the design of sliding back shape and hidden door handle reduces the drag coefficient to 0.25Cd, which has both sporty feeling and aerodynamic efficiency. The segmented waistline extends from the front wheel arch to the taillight, and the concave diversion channel under the door panel cooperates with the side skirt rib line to form a unique three-dimensional light and shadow effect.

Coming to the rear of Xingyao 8, its taillights are designed through, and the interior of the lamp cavity is a three-dimensional layered structure. When lighting, the central area is cut off by Geely LOGO, which not only ensures the overall continuity, but also retains the brand recognition. The rear enclosure of Xingyao 8 enhances the sense of movement through black decorative plates and horizontal chrome-plated strips, and with the duckling tail shape, the overall level of the rear is distinct.

Entering the car, the Xingyao 8 cockpit adopts an embracing layout, and the central control is equipped with a three-screen linkage system consisting of a suspended 15.4-inch central control panel, a 10.25-inch instrument panel and an AR-HUD.

The car is equipped with Flyme Auto system and built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, which supports four-zone voice recognition control, application store, 5G network and other functions, and can realize the seamless integration of car, mobile phone and cloud through star smart computing, thus improving the user experience. There is a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging panel under the central control panel, which is convenient for users in the front row to charge their mobile phones. The coverage rate of soft package material in Xingyao 8 car is as high as 85%, and the suede fabric is delicate to the touch. The door panel and the center console are decorated with "Lotus Pond Ripple" texture, which adds a sense of exquisiteness to the interior. Xingyao 8 has Nappa leather seats, and the front seats support heating, ventilation and 8-point massage. The space in Xingyao 8 car is quite ample, and the front and rear rows have good space performance.

In terms of power, Geely Yinhe Xingyao 8 provides two sets of plug-in hybrid power systems, namely EM-i and EM-P.. Among them, the EM-i power system is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, with a maximum power of 112 HP, and the maximum power of a single motor is 238 HP and 350 HP. The transmission system is matched with a single-gear DHT gearbox. The CLTC has pure electric cruising range of 60km and 130km, and the CLTC comprehensive cruising range is 1500km and 1600km； respectively. EM-P power system is composed of 1.5T engine (120kW)+P1/P3 dual motors (160kW), with comprehensive torque of 605N·m, zero-speed acceleration of 6.49s and top speed of 200km/h, matching with 3-speed DHT Evo electric drive gearbox, and its energy consumption performance is superior to that of similar single-speed hybrid vehicles, and its feed fuel consumption is as low as 3.67L/100km；; In addition, the engine and P1 and P3 motors can be redundant to each other and will not stall when feeding at high speed.
