Last year was the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. At this important historical moment, my group sisters and I gave birth to the supreme leader.The general secretary reported his work ideas, and brought greetings and lofty solicitude from all the sisters of Zhao Mengtao Group and all the textile workers to the general secretary, and also expressed Do not forget your initiative mind’s determination to pass on the dream peach spirit from generation to generation. Everyone wrote a letter to the general secretary with special excitement and anxiety. On November 12th, everyone was delighted to receive the cordial encouragement from the General Secretary to our Zhao Mengtao Group, which was extremely exciting both inside and outside the group and up and down the group. The dream peach spirit is not only the product of a specific era, but also not limited to the textile industry. After more than 50 years of inheritance and development, it has been injected into the whole China industry and become the spiritual wealth of the workers on the whole industrial front. It is in the same strain as the craftsman spirit advocated in the new era and new journey, and its essence is the love for work, self-confidence in business, responsibility and expectation and yearning for a better life of industrial workers in China. As a textile youth in the new era, the inheritor and practitioner of the dream peach spirit, I will lead the group sisters to continue to inherit and carry forward the dream peach spirit of "high standards, strict requirements, quick action, practical work, difficulty grabbing and convenient delivery" in future work, and drive more teams and groups to continue to write their youth and dreams in ordinary posts with practical actions.
Study hard to solve the technical problems of motor trains
Dong Hongtao, EMU mechanic of Xi ‘an EMU of China Railway Xi ‘an Bureau Group Co., Ltd.:
The service life of high-speed railway EMUs is 30 years, and it has been 14 years since 2007. As the first generation of high-speed rail people, my wish is that I hope to have a complete database, from the start of EMU operation to the end of its life cycle, with complete data technology accumulation and maintenance experience accumulation, which is the unshirkable responsibility of the first generation of EMU maintenance people. The second is the wish of the high-speed rail maintenance personnel, hoping that China’s high-speed rail maintenance will become more and more automatic and intelligent. There are still many problems to be solved in the maintenance process of EMU.
Let me give you two examples: First, the small tooling developed by the studio team is used to replace the special tooling parts for the tread cleaning and grinding machine of Type 2 EMU. In the past, because of the narrow construction space, it was only possible to touch and not see, and it took two people to work at the same time to complete the replacement in one hour. This problem was encountered when I first entered the EMU for maintenance. I have always kept it in mind. Although it has not been solved, I will ponder it when I have time. In 2018, I was inspired by the motorcycle brake line. It only takes one person to replace the grinding wheel of the EMU with this tooling now. There is also the air conditioning unit of Type 2 EMU at the bottom of the car. The air conditioning and refrigeration need heat exchange, and the filter screen needs to be kept clean. Problems often occur on the way. Faced with this problem, my team members and I are very anxious to collect data with the car. Later, we figured out a way, and we took early warning for air conditioning. Before the warning, after the air conditioner gives an alarm, all the filters are clean, which greatly increases the workload. Later, through early warning and daily tracking, the data of air conditioning units were collected and analyzed to find out the air conditioners with poor technology, and the targeted filter screen was cleaned and replaced at night, which reduced everyone’s workload.
Show the "artisan spirit" of industrial workers in the new era

We should not only have the spirit of hard work, dedication and dedication, but also have the "artisan spirit" of industrial workers in the new era.
Once the workshop encountered a very urgent task, and two arc locating keys with a width of 30 mm and 500 mm needed to be installed. This job has never been done before, and everyone has no idea. The leader trusted me very much and gave me this arduous task. Because the drawing is very complicated and there is no size on the general drawing, it needs to be converted into the final size through parts. I carefully analyzed the size by consulting the drawings and converted it, but it was very difficult to install it in two circular arcs with poor positioning, and I have been thinking about this problem since I got home. The task node is getting closer and closer, and the leader and foreman keep asking, "Little Summer, how is your task completed?" My heart is very anxious, like ants on hot bricks. When I got home, my father saw my state and kindly reminded me that you were stuck in a dead end, and another way could solve the problem.
After careful analysis, I found that the main problem of this work was that some stress changes occurred during the assembly process and deformation occurred. Through the communication with the technicians, the tooling structure was changed, and finally it was delivered smoothly according to the time and nodes. I was very happy and was recognized by the leaders.
As a model worker, I should be all-round. Through my hard training and the efforts of my apprentices, my team has three technical experts in Shaanxi Province, and one apprentice won the third place in the second skill competition in the province. I feel very pleased with their success.
It took more than 110 days to successfully complete the Everest survey task.

In November 2019, the supreme leaderDuring President’s visit to Nepal, the joint statement signed by China and Nepal mentioned that since Mount Everest is a symbol of friendship between the two countries, the two countries will jointly publish the elevation of Mount Everest and conduct scientific research cooperation. In order to implement the spirit of the joint statement, the Ministry of Natural Resources, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Sports General Administration and the People’s Government of Xizang Autonomous Region, jointly carried out the elevation survey of Mount Everest in 2020. The joint elevation survey of Mount Everest by the two countries is also a concrete measure to enhance Sino-Nepalese friendship. This year coincides with the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal, the 60th anniversary of the first human summit from the northern slope, and the 45th anniversary of Chinese’s accurate determination of the elevation of Mount Everest. Therefore, it is of great political and scientific significance to measure Mount Everest again.
The survey of Mount Everest is a comprehensive surveying and mapping project. China has carried out many surveys and mapping of Mount Everest in history, from the traditional survey and mapping of Mount Everest to the modern technology survey and mapping. In 1975, the height of Mount Everest was 8848.13 meters, which influenced the world for 30 years. It was also the first time that human beings accurately measured the height of Mount Everest, and it was quickly recognized by UNESCO. In 2005, we measured the elevation of Mount Everest by combining traditional and modern methods, and accurately obtained the elevation of the rock surface of Mount Everest of 8844.43 meters.
In this year’s Everest elevation survey, we entered Xizang on March 2 and withdrew around June 10, which lasted for more than 110 days. The process was very difficult, and we experienced three times of rushing to the top, and finally successfully completed the task.
Metro Line 4 "Surgery on the Heart" passed smoothly.

In 2014, as the project manager, I was in charge of the project of Xi ‘an Metro Line 4 passing through the railway station, which was constructed by large-section underground excavation method. The overlying soil was only 10.5 meters thick, and 5-8 meters was saturated soft loess. There should be 15 tracks and 14 groups of turnouts above the tunnel, and the subway construction should not affect the train traffic at the same time. There are more than 200 trains running every day, and one train passes in an average of 5 minutes. It puts forward very high technical requirements for us, and the environment is very complicated. It requires that the single-day settlement deformation should not exceed 1.5 mm and the cumulative settlement should not exceed 15 mm during the construction, which is the limit requirement for the saturated soft loess tunnel.
Many experts in the industry call it "operating on the heart". Operating on the heart means only allowing success but not failure. If it fails, if there is a big deformation, the train will be interrupted, and the middle of the train in Xi’ an Railway Station will affect the national train deployment, and even cause the train to derail and even crash. It’s very stressful to receive such a task for the first time.
I led the team to persevere. We set up four test sections before crossing the railway station, and optimized the scheme by groping for practice and collecting deformation parameters in the construction process, and formed corresponding construction methods and technologies through hard work. We took the computer to demonstrate the means we adopted on the spot through 3D video. In addition to the technical means adopted in the cave, we arranged more than 2,000 monitoring points on the ground, such as turnouts and pipelines, to monitor the whole process of the ground, and the monitoring data were fed back to the mobile APP every 10 minutes. The project managers received the information at the first time and immediately made judgments and adjustments. Through thousands of days and nights, we told the workers that the project managers accompanied all the workers to work together. It is through such persistence that we finally successfully completed the construction task of "operating on the heart".
